This position is located at Joint Base Lewis-McChord Sports, Fitness and Aquatics Program . Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid This job announcement is an open/ continuous announcement intended to fill multiple vacancies as they come available. Applicants will be reviewed on a weekly basis and eligible applicants will be referred to the hiring official for consideration at that time. This is a training position for a certified Lifeguard. Works under close supervision wherein the work is closely reviewed/monitored and detailed guidance provided. Must participate in all required training (emergency rescue drills, emergency action plan simulations). Mandatory certifications must be complete within 30 calendar days of employment. Upon completion of mandatory certifications, the incumbent will be non-competitively reassigned to Recreation Aid (Lifeguard), PD #3206, responsible for lifeguarding guests in attendance at an assigned aquatic facility. Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Must be able to swim 2.
