Role overview Remote Recruitment is looking for a remote Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to support a UK-based employer from South Africa. You'll run the purchase ledger end to end and keep supplier relationships in good shape. This is a fully remote role working 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST). Key responsibilities Process supplier invoices and match them to purchase orders Prepare and run weekly payment runs for approval Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries Manage the AP inbox and respond to suppliers professionally Support month-end close with accruals and reporting What you'll need Several years of accounts payable or purchase ledger experience Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks Strong attention to detail and comfort with high invoice volumes Clear written and spoken English A reliable home internet connection and quiet workspace What's on offer A salary of R25,000 – R29,000 per month, fully remote work, UK business hours, and a supportive finance team.
