About the role

You will serve as a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (MIL) in the Director of the Career Administration Division (PERS-81),Career Progression Department (PERS-8) at Navy Personnel Command (NPC) in Millington, TN of BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL. You will supervise the overall administration and implementation of Navy and DoD policies, regulations and procedures relating to enlisted military personnel actions. You will review work products for technical accuracy and accepts, amends or rejects finished work. You will ensure the integration of quality service principles and innovative methods to improve work practices in the Division. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying a knowledge of enlisted military personnel programs, principles, concepts laws, policies and precedents sufficient to provide advice to military personnel management; 2) Interpreting and/or applying regulations, procedures, and or precedents to provide advice and solve specific problems; 3) Identifying problem areas in order to make recommendations to leadership for resolution; and 4) Identifying impact of changes in policies and procedures to brief leadership.
