About the Position: You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist performing the full scope of analyst functions concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations, developing new or modified work methods, organizational structures, records and files, management processes, staffing patterns and procedures for administering program services. Plan and coordinate operations within the Theater Logistics Support Command Europe and Africa scope of operations. Maintain knowledge of laws, policies, and regulations affecting logistics operations. Provide staff oversight to subordinate activities for ongoing operations. Participate in working groups, operational planning teams, readiness reviews, and operations briefings. Advise on matters concerning maintenance, customer service, supply, transportation and support management operations for an organization. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Executing and developing support for logistics operations to include manpower, facility services, safety and materials; AND analyzing logistical operations to ensure training and readiness. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
