About the role

This position is located in the Asset Forfeiture and Seized Property Division (AFSPD), Office of Management/CFO (OM). Incumbent serves as Deputy Division Chief for the Asset Forfeiture and Seized Property Division (AFSPD). Responsibilities include overall planning, development, operational review, and implementation of programs as it relates to the Asset Forfeiture Program. The major duties of the Supervisory Program Analyst position include, but are not limited to, the following: Exercises supervisory responsibility and authority over division personnel Serves as management expert and principal advisor to the Division Chief on major issues and problems Oversees the daily operations, development, implementation, and success of the Asset Forfeiture program, division, and branch specific goals and objectives To qualify for the Supervisory Program Analyst position at the GS-15 grade, you must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Minimum Qualifications Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. To qualify for this position at the GS-15 grade level, candidates must meet the following specialized experience by the closing date of this announcement. EXPERIENCE: Candidates must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) This experience must include all of the following: Supervising, mentoring, and training employees in asset forfeiture; AND Developing and implementing asset forfeiture programs; AND Managing and exchanging information with leadership and government agencies effecting multi-million-dollar programs; AND Planning, coordinating, and executing innovative and strategic process improvements. Must be U.S. Citizen or National Selective Service registration is required for males born on, or after, December 31st 1959. Those not registered should have an approved exemption on file. May be required to serve a one-year probationary period. You must be a current permanent Department of Justice, ATF employee with competitive status or a CTAP/RPL eligible candidate. Pass drug screening and subject to random drug test. Suitable for Federal employment determined by background investigation. You must meet all applicable time-in-grade requirements by the closing of this announcement.
