Education Educates patients on the purpose, proper use, and expected outcomes of prescribed medications. Uses suitable oral, written or audiovisual communication techniques, and verifies through direct feedback, the patient's and/or caregiver's understanding of information presented. Provides both written and oral drug information to physicians, nurses and other associated healthcare professionals.
