Head of GTM Programs
AnthropicFull time · Remote-Friendly (Travel Required) | San Francisco, CA · Remote
About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the role Anthropic is hiring a Head of GTM Programs to build a foundational function from the ground up. Reporting to the Global Head of Revenue Operations, you'll own the content, playbooks, and cross-functional coordination that help our go-to-market organization — sales, marketing, partnerships, and customer success — execute consistently and well as we scale across regions and segments. This is a zero-to-one role. There's no existing playbook to inherit: you'll define what "GTM programs" means at Anthropic, build the initial roadmap, and bring the coordination that lets a fast-growing global GTM organization move faster and more consistently. You'll spend your first months embedded with GTM teams and their leaders, learning where the largest opportunities are and where the right content or coordination would make the biggest difference. Then you'll build it. Key responsibilities Build the global GTM programs function from scratch, working with GTM and revenue operations leadership to define priorities and a roadmap for your first year Design and maintain a scalable set of GTM content and playbooks that teams actually use, and keep them current as products, messaging, and the market evolve Establish a single, well-organized source of truth for GTM content, with clear ownership and version control across global teams Drive alignment across sales, marketing, partnerships, and customer success so that programs work end-to-end rather than optimizing for one function at another's expense Use feedback and performance data from across GTM to continuously identify gaps and refine programs and content Define success metrics for new programs — adoption, time-to-value, and productivity impact — and report on them regularly Partner with regional GTM leaders so that global programs reflect the realities of different markets and segments Minimum qualifications Experience building or scaling go-to-market programs, content, or productivity initiatives within a B2B organization A track record of designing and launching playbooks or content that go-to-market teams adopted and used Experience partnering directly with multiple go-to-market functions — such as sales, marketing, partnerships, or customer success — and with revenue operations to identify and solve productivity gaps Experience leading cross-functional programs end-to-end with a high degree of autonomy Experience writing clear, concise go-to-market content or playbooks for use by others Preferred qualifications Experience building a GTM programs, sales programs, or enablement function from scratch, ideally during a period of rapid company growth Experience supporting a global or multi-region go-to-market organization Background in AI, machine learning, or other emerging technology sectors Experience using data to evaluate program effectiveness and to influence go-to-market and revenue operations leadership The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $360,000—$540,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit anthropic.com/careers directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. Role Summary Pinterest is looking for a Senior Director of Security Engineering to serve as the CISO's operating partner and lead the engineering execution for the entire Product and Cloud Security areas of our information security program. This is not a conventional security-leadership hire — it is a mandate to run a significant, multi-domain engineering organization at the intersection of product security, cloud and infrastructure security, and privacy engineering. Reporting directly to the CISO, you will own approximately two-thirds of Pinterest's entire information security program: a team of 40+ engineers organized across five direct reports, and a scope that spans from secure product development and platform controls to privacy-by-design architecture and AI security. You will translate Pinterest's security and privacy strategy into measurable, durable engineering outcomes — and serve as a trusted partner to Engineering, Product, Legal, Privacy, and Trust & Safety leadership. What You'll Do: Own the end-to-end security engineering organization spanning product security, application security, identity and access management, vulnerability management, security architecture, supply chain and AI/product-risk controls, and cloud infrastructure security. Define and drive Pinterest's multi-year security engineering roadmap; translate risk appetite and policy into executable, measurable engineering programs across product and infrastructure lifecycles Serve as the executive owner of threat modeling, secure design review, and developer security enablement — embedding security as a first-class capability within Pinterest's engineering culture Partner closely with VP-level engineering, product, and infrastructure leaders and teams to seamlessly integrate security into the software development lifecycle. Drive the maturation of privacy engineering beyond compliance response — building reusable, scalable engineering primitives that make privacy-preserving development faster and safer across Pinterest's product surface area Champion and evangelize foundational security platforms and libraries to ensure a secure production and data infrastructure. This includes adoption of enterprise grade IAM (e.g. machines, workloads, agents, users) systems, secrets management, network security and container security. Own Cloud Governance: Leads cloud security posture and governance. Define and enforce standards for IaC security, AWS resource provisioning, CI/CD pipeline security, and overall security policies. Direct the maturation of the Security Compliance & Accountability platform. Establish and enforce rigorous metrics across multiple focus areas, including AAA (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting) standards and automated vulnerability management. Serve as the CISO's primary operating partner: synthesizing complex security and risk narratives into concise executive communications, investment cases, and evidence of risk reduction for senior leadership and the board Build deep, trusted partnerships with Engineering, Product, Legal/Privacy, Trust & Safety, IT, Internal Audit, and Data leadership — spending approximately 50% of your time driving cross-functional alignment and execution Establish a unified operating system for security and privacy engineering — aligning roadmaps, service levels, prioritization, and success metrics across all domains under your ownership Build and strengthen a high-performing global leadership bench: mentor and lead a high-performing team of senior staff security engineers and managers.Clarify organizational structures and accountabilities, and establish a scalable talent model across a geographically distributed team. Shape Pinterest's approach to AI security — spanning both the security of AI-powered product surfaces and the application of AI/ML to improve operational efficiency, and threat response. What We're Looking For: 15+ years of progressive experience in security engineering, with a career foundation in software engineering or security software engineering — you started writing code and have built your career from that craft Demonstrated experience leading a large, multi-domain security engineering organization (30+ engineers) at a B2C consumer internet platform of comparable scale — experience at companies with elevated consumer threat models (e.g., social platforms, marketplaces, consumer fintech adjacent) is strongly preferred Deep, hands-on expertise in product security — secure design, application security, vulnerability management, and developer enablement — with the credibility to lead a team comprised predominantly of security software engineers Meaningful experience in privacy engineering as a technical discipline, not just a compliance function; familiarity with privacy-by-design architectures and data lifecycle engineering Proven track record managing large-scale security budgets and driving measurable, multi-year security programs from strategy through execution Experienced managing geographically distributed teams and stakeholders in a global environment A builder and developer of talent: you take genuine pride in the careers of the people on your team and in creating organizational clarity in complex, fast-moving environments Fluency in cloud security architecture (AWS preferred), application and product security, identity and access management, privacy-preserving systems, and modern detection and response engineering Able to engage directly and credibly with senior security software engineers on technical design, architecture decisions, and engineering trade-offs Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field In-Office Requirement Statement: We recognize that the ideal environment for work is situational and may differ across departments. What this looks like day-to-day can vary based on the needs of each organization or role. Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office. At Oura, our mission is to empower every person to own their inner potential. With our award-winning Oura Ring and app, we help over 3 million people turn insights about sleep, activity, and readiness into healthier, more balanced lives. We believe that starts from within — by creating a culture where our team feels supported, included, and inspired to do their best work. Our values guide how we show up for each other and our community every day. We are looking for a Senior Product Quality Engineer, EE to join our Product Quality team in San Francisco, California. In this role you will lead Early Field Failure Analysis (EFFA), field quality, and product safety for the Oura Ring, covering both products currently in mass production and earlier generations still in members’ hands. You will determine why electrical failures occur in the field, confirm the mechanism behind them, and drive the design, process, supplier, and test changes required to prevent them from recurring. Job responsibilities include leading electrical failure analysis on returned units, building serial-level evidence packages from manufacturing, test, and telemetry data, and establishing commonality across build, supplier, revision, and geography. You will define containment and escalation for field safety issues, direct corrective action with our contract manufacturers (CMs) and suppliers, and verify effectiveness against field and factory data before an action is considered closed. A core objective of this role is closing the quality loop. You will convert confirmed field and factory findings into design, DFMEA, test coverage, and component selection inputs for NPI programs, so that mechanisms identified on shipping products are designed out of the next generation. This requires close partnership with Electrical Engineering, Firmware, Reliability, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Data, and Member Experience. This role spans the bench, the data, and the factory floor. Strong electrical engineering fundamentals, hands-on failure analysis capability, and practical data analysis skill are all essential for success in this role. This is a US Hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with an in-office requirement of three days per week. What you will do: Own electrical Early Field Failure Analysis (EFFA) for Oura Ring products, from returned unit intake and evidence review through technical disposition, confirmed mechanism, and closure Lead field quality and safety investigations for battery, charging, and power-related issues, including risk assessment, containment and escalation decisions, and the supporting technical rationale for Reliability, Regulatory, and Member Experience Direct non-destructive-first analysis workflows covering received-condition documentation, electrical characterization, ring diagnostics, optical inspection, and imaging prior to any destructive analysis Isolate failure mechanisms across power, battery, charging, sensor, clock, connectivity, interconnect, and leakage-related faults to the component, material, or process level using DMM, oscilloscope, current measurement, thermal imaging, micro-probing, and X-ray/CT Build serial-level evidence packages combining product configuration, hardware and firmware revision, manufacturing genealogy, factory test history, telemetry, and diagnostic records against the member-reported symptom Analyze field, factory, and FA data to establish commonality across manufacturing site, build lot, supplier, component, ring size, hardware and firmware revision, product age, geography, and diagnostic signature Distinguish reported symptom from failed function and confirmed mechanism, documenting supporting and contradicting evidence, remaining open questions, and confidence in the disposition Drive corrective action with CMs and suppliers, including factory containment, process control updates, inspection and test coverage, design and firmware changes, and additional reliability validation Verify corrective action effectiveness against before-and-after field, factory, reliability, or component data prior to closure Feed confirmed field and factory findings into NPI through design and DFMEA reviews, component and supplier selection, test coverage definition, traceability requirements, and reliability planning Partner with Data and Software teams on data ingestion, SQL and Python analysis, dashboards, and triage logic to convert confirmed mechanisms into leading indicators and proactive capture criteria Establish FA methods, standard operating procedures, equipment requirements, and reporting templates, and build repeatable capability across Oura’s regional labs and CM partners Present findings to engineering and quality leadership, clearly separating observation, hypothesis, confirmed mechanism, corrective action, and open risk You are a technical leader who insists on evidence and is comfortable with ambiguity. You understand that a passing functional test is not the same as a robust product, and that the purpose of failure analysis is not to explain a single return but to prevent the same mechanism from reaching future members. We would love to have you on our team if you have: 7+ years of experience in a Product Quality, Failure Analysis or Manufacturing Quality Engineering role supporting electronic products Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree is a plus Strong electrical engineering fundamentals across analog and digital circuits, power management, batteries and charging, sensors, clocks, PCBAs, flex circuits, solder joints, and component and interconnect failure behavior Hands-on experience troubleshooting electronic products at board, subassembly, and component level using electrical measurement and structured fault isolation methods Experience conducting or directing both non-destructive and destructive failure analysis, with sound judgment on what evidence must be captured before a unit is opened, modified, or sectioned Experience interpreting schematics, layouts, bills of material, component designators, test limits, and electrical specifications Experience with SQL, Python, JMP, Minitab, or comparable tools for data cleaning, hypothesis testing, commonality analysis, metric definition, and communicating uncertainty Experience with consumer electronics, wearables, batteries, or other small, highly integrated products manufactured at high volume Experience working with contract manufacturers and suppliers on process controls, inspection coverage, traceability, test systems, containment, and corrective action Understanding of quality principles and tools such as GRR, SPC, FA/CA, 8D, FMEA, and DOEs Understanding of how SMT, soldering, molding, handling, fixturing, test station design, and operator variation can create or mask electrical failures Able to work independently on technically ambiguous problems while engaging Electrical Engineering, Firmware, Process Engineering, Reliability, Supplier Quality, and factory partners at the right time Highly organized with the ability to maintain clear evidence trails and communicate complex technical conclusions through concise written reports, dashboards, and presentations Experience building or operating an in-house failure analysis laboratory, or training technicians and factory partners to execute repeatable screening procedures, is a plus Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 40% Benefits: At Oura, we care about you and your well-being.
