WHO WE ARE Notion is the collaborative AI workspace where teams and agents think together https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkpYpWfEK5s. We're building one place where your knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools live side by side, so work is faster, clearer, and less fragmented. Millions of individuals, small teams, and large companies run their work on Notion. Notinos (our employees) are customer zero in bringing this future of work to life. We care about craft, building things that last, and the belief that great work is still fundamentally human. Our goal isn’t to ship the next feature. Each and every team of Notinos is working to set the standard for how humans work together in the AI era. From building a business’s system of record to making and managing AI agents to automating away the busy work, we care deeply about giving our customers more time for their life’s work. ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Forward Deployed Architect on Notion’s Services team, you will help customers turn AI ambition into operational reality and unlock the full potential of our platform. You will partner directly with customers to design, build, and launch AI-native workflows that drive adoption, usage, and measurable business outcomes. This role sits at the center of Notion’s workflow-led GTM motion. You will partner directly with customers to understand their business goals, operating processes, technical environment, governance needs, and adoption barriers, then translate that context into scalable Notion architectures that drive measurable value. You will be hands-on across discovery, solution design, workspace architecture, workflow build, AI implementation, launch planning, adoption and handoff. You will work deeply with customers to define what Notion should own, where it should integrate with existing systems, and how Notion can become a durable operating layer for their teams. The best candidates combine strong consultative discovery, systems thinking, technical fluency, AI-native workflow design, implementation judgment and exceptional customer presence. You should be comfortable reasoning through technical tradeoffs, designing scalable solutions, and partnering closely with Forward Deployed Engineering when deeper engineering support is required. This role can be based in either San Francisco or New York City. We work from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays (our Anchor Days) because we do our best thinking and building together in person. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for UI component systems, front-end architecture, and design pattern guidelines. Our Mission Healthcare should work for patients, but it doesn’t. In their time of need, they call down outdated insurance directories. Then wait on hold. Then wait weeks for the privilege of a visit. Then wait in a room solely designed for waiting. Then wait for a surprise bill. In any other consumer industry, the companies delivering such a poor customer experience would not survive. But in healthcare, patients lack market power. Which means they are expected to accept the unacceptable. Zocdoc’s mission is to give power to the patient. To do that, we’ve built the leading healthcare marketplace that makes it easy to find and book in-person or virtual care in all 50 states, across +200 specialties and +12k insurance plans. By giving patients the ability to see and choose, we give them power. In doing so, we can make healthcare work like every other consumer sector, where businesses compete for customers, not the other way around. In time, this will drive quality up and prices down. Senior Security Engineer, Application Security
FaireFull time · Kitchener-Waterloo, ON; Toronto, ON · On site
About Faire Faire is a technology wholesale platform built on the belief that the future is local. Independent retailers around the globe collectively represent a multi-hundred-billion-dollar wholesale market that has historically been fragmented and offline. At Faire, we're using the power of tech, data, and machine learning to connect this thriving community of entrepreneurs across the globe. Picture your favorite boutique in town — we help them discover the best products from around the world to sell in their stores. With the right tools and insights, we believe that we can level the playing field so businesses can grow and local communities can thrive. We’re looking for smart, resourceful and passionate people to join us as we power the shop local movement. If you believe in community, come join ours. About this role Our Engineering organization owns the software that makes our marketplace work. Our Application Security function is focused on keeping vulnerabilities out of the code and software as it's built and shipped, owning the SDLC from commit to production. We care about good engineering practice and love to write software that is secure, tested, easy to maintain, and can scale to millions of users. We build scalable, reusable frameworks; consult with product teams; listen to the data; and iterate. As a Senior Security Engineer, Application Security, you'll collaborate with us to: Find and fix vulnerabilities in first-party code and third-party dependencies using AI-powered detection, SAST, DAST, SCA, and secret scanning tooling. Build shift-left tooling and CI/CD guardrails that make the secure path the default in the build pipeline. Own offensive security engagements such as penetration tests with external vendors. Evaluate and harden the security of AI-assisted code generation workflows. Own the bug bounty program and the vulnerability management lifecycle end to end, from intake through remediation and closure. Lead threat modeling and secure design reviews for new products and high-risk platform changes, shaping the architecture before the code is written rather than reviewing it after. Conduct security reviews and consultations with product and platform teams and develop secure coding standards and scaling frameworks for recurring vulnerability classes. We're excited about you because you have: Hands-on experience integrating security into the software development lifecycle. Experience driving vulnerability remediation across teams you do not own, with a point of view on how to set severities, hold SLAs, and get things actually closed. Exposure to offensive security, whether that is running a bug bounty program, scoping penetration tests with external vendors, or finding and reporting real vulnerabilities yourself. A passion for coding and solving security problems scalably with code and automation, rather than with process and policy. Comfort writing and reviewing code in OOP languages such as Kotlin, Java, Python, or TypeScript, enough to read an unfamiliar service, judge whether a finding is real, and open the pull request that fixes it. Practical experience with AppSec detection tooling (SAST, DAST, SCA, or secret scanning), including the unglamorous parts: deploying it, tuning the rules, and cutting the false positives so engineers trust the results. A thorough understanding of web application security principles and common vulnerabilities, including OWASP Top 10, with an instinct for the systemic fix behind the individual finding. Experience leading threat models on systems you did not build, and the judgement to know which designs need one and which do not. Experience working in modern cloud computing environments such as AWS or GCP. The ability to explain risk to product engineers in a way that makes them want to fix it, and the credibility to be invited into design discussions rather than added as a gate. Curiosity about the security of AI-assisted development, and interest in figuring out what changes when a meaningful share of the code is machine-generated. Technologies we use and teach: Kotlin, Typescript, Python AppSec tooling - SAST/DAST/SCA/secret scanning AWS, OCI, Terraform, Kubernetes AI tooling - Cursor, Claude Salary Range Canada: the pay range for this role is $160,000 to $220,000 per year. This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. About Us At Cloudflare, we are on a mission to help build a better Internet. Today the company runs one of the world’s largest networks that powers millions of websites and other Internet properties for customers ranging from individual bloggers to SMBs to Fortune 500 companies. Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Internet properties powered by Cloudflare all have web traffic routed through its intelligent global network, which gets smarter with every request. As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks. Cloudflare was named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Company Cultures list and ranked among the World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company. At Cloudflare, we’re not looking for people who wait for a polished roadmap; we’re looking for the builders who see the cracks in the Internet that everyone else has simply learned to live with. We value candidates who have the instinct to spot a "normalized" problem and the AI-native curiosity to create a solution using the latest tools. Our culture is built on iteration, leveraging AI to ship faster today to make it better tomorrow, while ensuring that every improvement, no matter how small, is shared across the team to lift everyone up. If you’re the type of person who values curiosity over bureaucracy, and that AI is a partner in solving tough problems to keep the Internet moving forward, you’ll fit right in. Available Locations: San Francisco, CA Austin, TX About the Role We are looking for an innovative, tech-forward Director of Global Design & Construction to lead our physical environment strategy into its next evolution. This role demands a unique combination of high-level strategic vision, a passion for experimentation, creativity, and a relentless commitment to world-class physical execution. First and foremost, you are a builder of impactful, high-performance spaces. You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end design and construction of workspaces that serve as the tangible, physical manifestation of the local Cloudflare culture. At the same time, you are stepping into uncharted territory. To keep Cloudflare at the absolute forefront of our industry, we are up-leveling how we deliver projects by integrating an AI-first, data-driven approach. We are looking for a visionary leader who can think outside the box to identify and implement how AI can automate workflows, optimize budgets, and improve data-driven design decisions. While automation and AI are the engines of efficiency in this role, the human element is its heart. Your creativity, physical hospitality, and human judgment will guide every project, ensuring our global spaces continuously evolve alongside our teams. What You’ll Do Physical Execution & Cultural Identity: Lead the physical realization of Cloudflare’s global offices. Direct architects, general contractors, and artists to design and build spaces that authentically capture the vibe and culture of each local hub, ensuring every environment feels uniquely Cloudflare, inspiring, and functional. Conceptualize and execute the AI Workflow: Think outside the box to architect how AI and automation can revolutionize legacy design and construction phases. Map out and execute opportunities to eliminate manual bottlenecks across the entire project lifecycle - including vendor onboarding/benchmarking, contracting, cost estimation, budget/project tracking, and risk identification - by implementing automated review pipelines and data-driven quality controls. Drive Spatial Experimentation: Treat our workplaces as living laboratories. Conceptualize and implement pioneering internal qualitative and quantitative data-collection methods - such as tracking real-time utilization patterns and capturing continuous employee feedback loops - to architect data-driven proposals that evolve our global footprints based on your findings. Evolve the Design Framework: Use data insights and post-occupancy metrics to constantly challenge existing design assumptions. Lead formal change management efforts to iterate on our physical footprints and champion a generative design-supported “kit of parts” for global serviced offices, ensuring they fluidly adapt as work styles and distributed team needs change. Predictive Capital & Site Strategy: Collaborate with Real Estate and FP&A teams to direct predictive modeling concepts for site selection, due diligence, project cash flows, long-term financial reporting, and financial risk mitigation, steering the department toward highly optimized capital allocation. CapEx Budget Ownership & Financial Governance: Own and manage the global capital expenditure (CapEx) budget, delivering accurate multi-year financial forecasting, cost-variance reporting, and executive-level capital reporting. Executive Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the strategic bridge and primary liaison between internal executive business customers and external delivery partners (including architects, GCs, and furniture dealers). Ensure Physical Security, IT, Legal, and Workplace leadership are deeply aligned under a unified, technology-supported project pipeline and data layer that prioritizes the employee experience. Lifecycle Handover & Commissioning: Establish rigorous commissioning protocols to ensure flawless handovers from construction completion to local Workplace Operations teams. Global Pipeline Governance & Compliance: Oversee a global project pipeline across all international hubs and time zones, seamlessly balancing highly creative local refreshes with complex, large-scale 100,000+ square foot tenant improvement projects. Ensure all construction activities and global workflows are in strict compliance with local laws while maintaining a focus on sustainable, high-performance building standards. Examples of Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Proven Seniority: 10-12+ years of experience leading interior design and complex construction project management, specifically within high-growth technology companies or global enterprises. Scale Mastery: A proven track record of successfully directing a global corporate office portfolio in excess of 250,000+ total square feet. Curiosity & Growth Mindset: A profound curiosity for how technology can optimize human interaction. You must be comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the challenge of building unprecedented internal tools from scratch rather than managing legacy workflows. Technical Integration: Knowledge of technical infrastructure (MEP systems, architectural principles, AV/IT) and a clear vision of how they connect with automated building systems. Sophisticated Communication: Outstanding leadership and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional executives and external partners across multiple time zones. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field such as Architecture, Project Management, Interior Design, or Engineering. Global Mobility & Presence: Willingness to work in-office ~3 days a week to lead by example within our local workplace laboratory, with the flexibility to travel globally to oversee high-stakes project transformations. Nice-to-Have Skills Certifications: LEED, WELL, or PMP Certifications. Advanced Technical Skills: Experience with AI-enhanced workflows, generative design platforms, or transitioning legacy portfolios into AI-assisted operational models. We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to own key Order Quality design work, partnering closely with 3+ product managers and their engineering teams across some of the most complex and high-visibility problem spaces at Instacart. This role is a rare opportunity to make a deep, measurable impact on an experience that touches every Instacart customer and, in many cases, our Shopper experience as well. About the Job Own key Order Quality design initiatives end-to-end — from zero-to-one concept exploration through execution-level delivery — across multiple concurrent projects spanning consumer and shopper experiences. Become the go-to domain expert for Order Quality, building deep knowledge across active workstreams and proactively maintaining continuity on previously approved work while absorbing net-new asks from the product team. Serve as a trusted thought partner to 3+ product managers — collaborating on product strategy, using design to help envision solutions at scale, and partnering closely with engineering teams to ensure execution-level handoff is thorough, accurate, and actionable. Navigate seamlessly between high-level strategic conversations with design and product leadership and detailed, craft-focused execution work — including Figma flows, polish passes, and design systems collaboration. Build strong cross-functional relationships across product, engineering, research, data science, and brand; represent Order Quality design in crits, reviews, and stakeholder presentations — including to heads of Product and Design. Apply modern AI tools in daily workflows to accelerate exploration, prototyping, and iteration, bringing a forward-looking point of view on how AI can improve both the design process and the customer experience. About You Minimum Qualifications 6+ years designing consumer-facing digital products across web and mobile, with a portfolio demonstrating complex, multi-step product journeys and measurable outcomes. Demonstrated ability to own work end-to-end — from early problem framing and zero-to-one concept development through high-quality execution and delivery — without delegating either end of the spectrum. Experience working across multiple complex problem spaces simultaneously, collaborating with several product and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with a track record of presenting work confidently to cross-functional partners and senior/executive stakeholders. Fluency in Figma, with the ability to produce high-fidelity flows, interaction design, and design system-aligned UI at speed. Genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for design craft, with an eye toward how AI tools and emerging capabilities can improve both workflow and product outcomes. Preferred Qualifications Experience in e-commerce, grocery, marketplace, or logistics products where fulfillment, order integrity, or transactional trust are core to the experience. Background designing for multi-sided marketplace platforms — balancing the needs of consumers, shoppers, and other stakeholders simultaneously. Experience in larger corporate or agency environments, with exposure to structured design processes and multi-team collaboration at scale. Comfort working within and improving established design language systems, ensuring consistency and quality across complex product surfaces. #LI-Remote Instacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work.
