Corporate Development Integration Lead
AnthropicFull time · San Francisco, CA · On site
About Anthropic Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. About the Role Anthropic is seeking a Corporate Development Integration Lead to own the critical post-signing phase of our M&A activity — from confirmatory diligence through integration planning to full operational follow-through. As Anthropic's corporate development function matures and transaction volume increases, this role will serve as the connective tissue between deal teams, product and engineering organizations, and the acquired teams themselves, ensuring that acquisitions deliver on their strategic thesis. This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of M&A execution and operational excellence. You will define and scale the integration playbook, build repeatable processes for technical and organizational integration, and work directly with executive leadership to ensure each deal realizes its intended value. The ideal candidate has deep prior integration experience at high-growth technology companies and brings a structured, hands-on approach to navigating the complexity that arises after a deal signs. You are energized by turning strategic intent into operational reality. You thrive working across organizational boundaries, are comfortable operating in ambiguous and fast-moving environments, and understand that integration is where M&A value is ultimately created or destroyed. Join us in building the infrastructure that ensures Anthropic's acquisitions create lasting value — both for the mission of safe AI and for the brilliant teams we bring into the organization. This role offers a rare opportunity to shape how one of the most consequential companies in AI executes and integrates its growth strategy. Key responsibilities Lead confirmatory diligence workstreams post-LOI, coordinating with legal, finance, product, engineering, and research teams to validate the strategic and technical thesis before deal close Develop and maintain due diligence frameworks tailored to Anthropic's acquisition types (acquihires, technology acquisitions, transformational deals), ensuring consistent and thorough assessment of technical assets, talent quality, IP, and organizational fit Own the integration readiness assessment — identify risks, flag cultural or operational gaps, and provide go/no-go input to deal sponsors before signing Coordinate technical deep dives with engineering and research leadership to validate product-market fit, code quality, and team capabilities Design and own end-to-end integration plans for each transaction, covering organizational structure, reporting lines, tooling migration, product roadmap alignment, and day-one operational continuity Build and maintain a scalable integration playbook, establishing best practices, templates, and decision frameworks that can be reused across future deals Develop integration timelines and milestones in close coordination with product, engineering, HR, IT, and legal to ensure cross-functional alignment before and at close Facilitate introductions and relationship-building between acquired teams and internal stakeholders during the planning phase to accelerate ramp and reduce post-close friction Model financial and operational scenarios to stress-test integration assumptions and identify contingency plans Drive day-one and day-100 integration execution, tracking milestones against plan and escalating blockers to deal sponsors and executive leadership in real time Serve as the primary point of contact for acquired teams during the transition period, ensuring they have the information, access, and organizational support needed to be productive and retained Partner with HR and people managers to design onboarding and retention plans for key talent, with particular focus on acquired engineering, research, and product leaders Conduct post-integration retrospectives to capture lessons learned, measure outcomes against the original deal thesis, and feed insights back into future integration planning Build and report integration KPIs to leadership, including retention rates, product milestone achievement, and operational readiness benchmarks Minimum qualifications Possess strong technical fluency — either through prior software engineering or product experience, or deep familiarity with evaluating technical organizations and codebases Are skilled at building cross-functional relationships and can effectively coordinate across product, engineering, legal, HR, and finance teams Excel at translating strategic objectives into actionable operational plans with clear timelines, owners, and accountability Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and can maintain both urgency and precision when managing multiple parallel workstreams Have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present integration status and recommendations clearly to executive leadership Are genuinely excited about AI safety and aligned with Anthropic's mission to build reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems Preferred qualifications Have 10+ years of corporate development or M&A integration experience, with a demonstrated track record of leading post-acquisition integrations at high-growth technology companies Have direct experience in AI/ML companies or deep learning research environments, with an understanding of the unique talent dynamics in frontier AI Have built or significantly contributed to a corporate development integration function, including the creation of playbooks, frameworks, and repeatable processes Bring experience with acquihire integrations, including deep familiarity with technical talent retention and the unique challenges of integrating small, high-output engineering teams Have an MBA or advanced technical degree (Computer Science or equivalent) Demonstrate experience managing stakeholder expectations across multiple simultaneous integrations with competing timelines Possess experience with international or cross-border transaction integration, including navigating differing cultural norms and regulatory requirements The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. Annual Salary: $325,000—$425,000 USD Logistics Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices. Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification. Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team. Your safety matters to us. To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. Legitimate Anthropic recruiters will never ask for money, fees, or banking information before your first day. If you're ever unsure about a communication, don't click any links—visit anthropic.com/careers directly for confirmed position openings. How we're different We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills. The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences. Come work with us! Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues. RobloxFull time · San Mateo, CA, United States · On site
Every day, tens of millions of people come to Roblox to explore, create, play, learn, and connect with friends in 3D immersive digital experiences– all created by our global community of developers and creators. At Roblox, we’re building the tools and platform that empower our community to bring any experience that they can imagine to life. Our vision is to reimagine the way people come together, from anywhere in the world, and on any device. We’re on a mission to connect a billion people with optimism and civility, and looking for amazing talent to help us get there. A career at Roblox means you’ll be working to shape the future of human interaction, solving unique technical challenges at scale, and helping to create safer, more civil shared experiences for everyone. As a Software Engineer on the Creator, Experience LiveOps team, you'll work full-stack across our backend services and the creator-hub web app (TypeScript/React) to ship features that let every creator run live-ops the way large studios do: safely, and at platform scale. You'll own meaningful pieces from day one and work closely with senior and principal engineers, our PM, and design. Join us and give the entire creator community live-ops superpowers. The Experience LiveOps (ELO) Team builds the runtime tools creators use to operate and tune their live experiences without shipping a code release. Our surfaces include Remote Configs (targeted, scheduled, and AI-assisted configuration), A/B Experimentation with real metrics and early harm detection, audience Segmentation, and Open Cloud / public APIs that expose all of it programmatically. You Will: Build and ship features across ELO's config, experimentation, and segmentation surfaces, backend services and the creator-hub UI. Own projects end-to-end (spec to launch) with support from senior/principal engineers on the team. Partner with PM, design, DSA/Discovery, and Data Platform to deliver high-quality, well-instrumented features. Participate in code reviews, share knowledge with teammates, and take part in the team's on-call rotation. You Are: An engineer with 1-3 years of experience building software systems (industry experience). Full-stack-comfortable: you can move between backend services and a web frontend (TypeScript/React), and you're not afraid to learn the half you know less well. A finisher: you take features from spec through launch with guidance from senior teammates, and you care that they keep working — testing, monitoring, and follow-through. Pragmatic & collaborative: you communicate clearly, ask good questions, and are low-ego about code and feedback. Curious: you stay current and like understanding why a system behaves the way it does. For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. You're prepared to tackle the toughest technical problems, understand trade-offs, and enable teams to make decisions and progress. - You have a high tolerance for ambiguity and change, especially around organizational structure and the boundaries of your role. You enjoy jumping into whatever areas need attention and learning as-you-go. - You value empathetic and direct communication, particularly when giving and receiving feedback. At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease. Our Software Engineers build and own high-value products for our customers and the infrastructure that lets our business scale. Vanta's team and technology surface are growing quickly, and it's essential that we invest in the right abstractions and systems to scale with our business. As a Software Engineer, you'll build and own full-stack features and platform primitives across our stack, work closely with the teams and partners who depend on what you ship, and grow into broader technical ownership. Your work will directly accelerate Vanta's growth. Our business has found incredible product-market fit and has monetized effectively since the day we signed our first customer. We're growing at a blistering pace, which presents career-defining opportunities for engineers to accelerate their growth and to contribute to a rapidly-scaling company. The Integrations Platform team within Vanta Government Cloud mission is to power the world's largest trust automation ecosystem, enabling any person or agent to build, connect, and automate trust seamlessly. Federal compliance is going through its biggest shift in a decade and this team builds the integration platform underneath Vanta Government Cloud that turns federal frameworks into automated, continuously monitored product experiences. This is a builder role: you'll turn federal control requirements into the platform primitives and integrations that make continuous authorization real. We own Vanta's integration ecosystem within the US Government Cloud, which currently includes a growing set of integrations across Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), Identity Providers, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). In this role, you'll build, own, support, and scale Vanta's Government Cloud integration operations. You'll build upon and extend the Integrations Platform, which includes shared primitives for authentication, lifecycle, observability, and publishing so that all integrations are built on the same foundation. Our North Star is to eliminate the barrier to building integrations entirely, enabling anyone to create an integration in minutes using declarative, low-code, and no-code patterns, supercharged by AI agents. What you’ll do as a Software Engineer at Vanta: - Design, build, and own full-stack features and platform primitives that internal teams, partners, and customers build on. - Deploy, operate, support, and maintain integrations running in Vanta's Government Cloud, including monitoring, on-call / incident response, and change management within the GovCloud boundary. - Contribute to our authentication, data-ingestion, and schema-evolution services, keeping integrations with external systems secure and reliable. - Partner with federal subject-matter experts to implement and maintain continuous-monitoring detectors and automated tests, with versioned framework mappings. - Build secure, well-documented, scalable services and UI with TypeScript, React, and Node.js. - Improve performance, operational excellence, and SDLC practices within the team. - Use AI tools and workflows to accelerate development and operations. How to be successful in this role: - 6+ years of full-stack development building reliable, scalable, fault-tolerant systems. - Platform and API design: you've built APIs and reusable components others depend on, with a solid grounding in RESTful APIs, authentication protocols (OAuth, API keys, JWT), and security best practices. - Data integrations: you've built data ingestion from external systems (Cloud Providers, HRIS, Identity Providers, Code Repositories) using best practices like rate limiting, retries and idempotency, and webhooks. - Systems thinking: you design for scale, reliability, and failure modes. You look around corners, address edge cases, and proactively identify and address risk. - Collaboration: you partner with internal teams, Federal agencies employees, vendors, and Third-Party Assessment Organization (3PAOs) to achieve mutual success. You incorporate their feedback into your designs, and are on a clear trajectory to broader technical ownership. - Interest in security or compliance: you're motivated by building trustworthy systems in a regulated environment. - Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact. Requirements - Physical location: you must reside in, and perform all work exclusively from within, the United States, accessing systems only from U.S. locations. - Work Authorization Requirements: You must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship Preferred qualifications - Familiarity with compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, FISMA) and how they apply to cloud and integration environments. - Experience building or operating in a government or otherwise regulated cloud environment (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or GCP) — deep familiarity with one translates well to the others. Bonus: startup or bias-for-action environments, and interest in security or compliance products What you can expect as a Vanta’n: - Industry-competitive salary and equity - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with 100% of employee-only benefit premiums covered for most medical plans - 16 weeks fully-paid Parental Leave for all new parents - Health & wellness stipend - Remote workspace, internet, and cellphone stipend - Commuter benefits for team members who report to the SF and NYC office - Family planning benefits - Matching 401(k) contribution with immediate vesting - Flexible PTO policy, plus 80 hours of Sick Time - 11 company-paid holidays - Virtual team building activities, lunch and learns, and other company-wide events! - Offices in SF, NYC, London, Dublin, Tel Aviv, and Sydney To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, gender identity, age, religion, sexual orientation, veteran or disability status, or any other protected class. As an equal opportunity employer, we encourage and welcome people of all backgrounds to apply. About Vanta We started in 2018, in the wake of several high-profile data breaches. Online security was only becoming more important, but we knew firsthand how hard it could be for fast-growing companies to invest the time and manpower it takes to build a solid security foundation. Vanta was inspired by a vision to restore trust in internet businesses by enabling companies to improve and prove their security. From our early days automating security monitoring for compliance standards like SOC 2, HIPAA and ISO 27001 to creating the world's leading Trust Management Platform, our vision remains unchanged.
